We can see the deformation of the tire after some significantly abrasion, that was made by the lock brakes, that part pr the tire was weak, can no longer afford the air pressure, danger of burst in riding , the tire needs to be replaced immediately ...
In normal operation with no special abrasion in use, the estimated life time of KENDA 16 "x1.5 65psi tire was 2000km up.
對於此次KENDA 16"x1.5 65psi的輪胎耐用程度測試因輪胎出現變形而在1600km完結並作出以下分析:
從相片中可以看見後輪胎變形的部份有明顯的磨損, 是由鎖死剎車所做成, 令到外胎磨損的部份比其它位置較為薄弱, 較薄的位置不能再承受輪胎的氣壓, 出現俗稱"生仔"的輪胎局部彭脹現像, 行車時有除時爆裂的危險須立即更換外胎...
至於輪胎若在正常運轉而沒有出現特別磨損的使用下, 估計KENDA 16"x1.5 65psi輪胎的壽命至少可達2000km以上.

In 2010, ten more cyclists were killed in Hong Kong, a staggering 8.5% of all road fatalities. More than 1700 were injured, including 229 seriously.
This year we are highlighting that number of cyclist deaths and injuries is unchanged over many years BECAUSE government has not educated the public. Transport Department has shown that such education is effective as it reduced total road deaths with TV ads about the consequences of poor driving, eg. drink-drive.
So we demand a sustained public information programme to raise awareness that cyclists have equal rights on the road, and to show what driving behaviour is legal and reasonable.

香港速立達會成立三週年的慶祝活動, 在尖沙咀的中菜館舉行, 代理商送出大量Strida配件抽獎, 而大獎更是一台Strida LT, 會後部份會員前住九龍城享用甜品, 於途中在海旁看着俄國總統遊船在海空警備包圍下橫越維多利亞港.

美食之旅 - 從大圍出發, Strida Club的隊伍浩浩蕩蕩沿香港最俱歷史及規模的新界吐露港公路單車徑, 在梅雨季節的微風細雨下由皮帶驅動的Strida發揮着優異的善水及穩定性, 於寬闊的路段上欣賞着吐露港的風景進發, 前住位於大尾督汀角路的特色美食巴希雅海灣重慶燒烤Bahia BBQ ,在海邊享受着內海景色及一串串熱香撲鼻的燒肉串, 可謂人生一大快事.

秘景之旅 - 由大嶼山東涌出發, 三十多台Strida出發前住位於南邊的秘景深屈, 沿途經過海邊小橋、村路、樹林、山路等可謂上山下海, 旅程的目的地為位於深屈的小漁村, 當中發生了車友爆呔需要更換輪胎的小插曲, 換胎過程搞笑之餘亦充份顯出Strida的單臂車架結構在換胎時不須拆卸車軨的便利特性!
